ProFlexCharleston, S.C.—Flooring distributor William M. Bird, through the East Bay Supply Co., subsidiary, partnered with ProFlex to expand its offering of flooring installation supplies. The company said its complete line of water vapor reduction, sound control, crack suppression and tile setting products will be sold through William M. Bird and its East Bay Supply Co. division to flooring customers in the Southeast U.S. The partnership between the companies was effective on June 1, 2022.

“We are proud to bring the ProFlex line of products to our customers,” said Jaco Kruger, director of sales, East Bay Supply Co, . “Through this line, we can provide an even stronger and more comprehensive offering to our customers with residential, industrial and commercial projects. We look forward to a long and successful partnership with ProFlex.”

According to Tim Abbott, CEO, ProFlex, the company has been a pioneer for years in the development of products designed to make flooring and finished surfaces last long. “By keeping at the forefront of ever-changing technology, ProFlex continues to be a driving force in the flooring installation industry,” Abbott said. “We are pleased that we will be able to positively impact the availability and supply chain within the Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee and the Alabama areas for builders, flooring professionals and more who need state-of-the-art products, manufactured with the latest cutting-edge technologies for water vapor reduction, sound control and crack suppression.”

The company said inventory of ProFlex products will be well-stocked and available for purchase through William M. Bird and its East Bay Supply Co. pro shop locations.
