Laser Products Expands Sales Team

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Laser Products (LPI) today announced a salesforce expansion for the second time in the past year and is reorganizing its U.S. sales territories.

This is an effort to optimize the team’s ability to quickly respond to the measurement-solutions company’s rapidly growing number of customers and their needs.

Drew Thornton has taken on the role of Director of Business Development, where he will manage LPI’s national accounts, grow the LPI Partner Network, and launch products into new markets over the coming years. He will also continue working closely with all CNC manufacturers as part of an enhanced software-integration initiative that will streamline job processing from measuring through fabrication.

Doug Jackson has been hired as the South Central Sales Manager for Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Tennessee. Jackson holds a degree in electronics engineering and boosts 15 years of sales and technical experience in a wide variety of industries. He most recently served as the sales engineer at Salem Distributing, a machinery sales company in the stone and glass industry.

Eric Harrison has been hired as the Northwest Sales Manager for the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming, plus the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Harrison brings more than 20 years of experience in many aspects of solid surface applications including countertops, tile, and flooring. He worked recently for HK Custom Contracting, a stone and tile company based in Spokane, Wash.

“This salesforce expansion is very exciting for Laser Products,” said Rich Katzmann, LPI president. “Our rapid and continual growth is a strong indication of our dominant position in the industry, the quality of our products and our ability to meet the needs of fabricators, both manual and automated.

“We anticipate that, as a result of this expansion, LPI will be bringing exciting product innovation and new strategic partnerships to the market very soon.”
