HomeCOVID-19DuChateau remains open amid COVID-19

San Diego, Calif.–DuChateau said it remains open and ready to support its retail, architectural and design customers.

The company said it has made several operational changes that enable it to safeguard the health of its workforce and customers while still providing optimal service and support. The company has transitioned to a work-at-home model for all headquarters staff, as well as for its sales representatives. All departments and functions are fully operational.

“We are working to provide a seamless experience to all of our customers,” said DuChateau president, Benjamin Buzali. “Of course, our primary concern is the health and well-being of both our team and our customers. We are proud to be able to continue to provide our services during this challenging time.”

The company’s sales representatives are completely focused on providing service and support to their customers, the company said. Requests are now being handled remotely via voice or video connections. Most of the company’s representatives are accredited to teach CEU seminars and are urging their customers to take advantage of this and conduct online seminars and classes. They are also offering distance-based sales training for retail associates. “Our nimble sales team is doing whatever is needed to support all of our customers,” said Rick Wagner, vice president of sales.

The result of these efforts is that DuChateau has significant availability of inventory across all collections. For on-going construction projects, both residential and commercial, DuChateau has the needed inventory and is ready to ship. The company’s customer care team is working remotely and continues to service accounts. Made-to-order Atelier flooring and Inceptiv/Celestio 3D Wood Wall Panels are also available.

“We know that as the majority of Americans find themselves in quarantine at home, they will be looking at their homes and thinking about improvements they might make,” said Patrick Bewley, vice president of marketing. “Our enhanced website is the perfect destination for them to look at options, and our visualizer tool enables them to see how each floor might look in their environment.”
