Mountville, Pa.—AHF Products has launched its floor Visualizer, a new digital tool to help customers picture the latest flooring styles in their home before buying. The Visualizer is available across the company’s top-selling flooring brands, including Bruce, Hartco and Robbins.

Designed to take the headache out of the complex remodel experience, the company said the Visualizer tool is an easy-to-use online platform where consumers can visualize and design their dream floor instantly on any device. This allows for a streamlined process and quicker turnaround on projects, and provides a fast, seamless way for homeowners and professionals to build confidence during product selection.

“Buying new flooring is an investment, and with so many options can be a daunting experience,” said Wendy Booker, vice president, marketing & new product development, AHF Products. “The floor visualizer helps customers to find a beautiful floor that matches their personal style in terms of looks, performance and daily lifestyle.”

Consumers see how a color or style will look in a variety of different rooms, and can even upload their own image to see how their selections will look in their own home.

With the visualization technology, retailers have a wealth of inspiration to work remotely or in the showroom with consumers. Dealers can help customers to immediately see what their floor will look like, and follow-up with actual samples. “Salespeople can use home computers, Zoom, iPads or tablet solutions to show elements that are not on the showroom floor,” Booker added. “In this scenario, they can demonstrate not only what’s available, but also what it will look like in the customer’s home.”

With the new Visualizer tool, a variety of flooring products can be installed in any space. It’s a simple four-step process:

  1. Choose a room: Upload a photo of a room or select from one of the sample rooms.
  2. Select your flooring: Browse options and click on a favorite flooring product.
  3. Visualize it: View the product in the consumers space. Zoom in/out or rotate the floor.
  4. Save, share or find a store: Save the image, share with others or find the nearest retailer.

The Visualizer will tell consumers where they can purchase their selected options. “Ultimately the goal is to aid the consumer, and increase sales and profitability for us and our retail partners,” Booker said.
