Principal Kirsten Sibilia Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, was presented with the "Principal of the Year" award at this year's SMPS annual gala. This leadership award recognizes an AEC industry principal who has shown an outstanding effort to integrate the role of marketing into his or her firm culture and the culture of the industry as a whole.
Kirsten's accomplishments as a leader, mentor, and strategist both at Dattner Architects and beyond are exemplary of her commitment to not only the field of marketing, but also to the importance of civic architecture and design.

2015 Industry Impact Award, New York Construction Awards
Dattner Architects received a 2015 Industry Impact Award during the annual New York Construction Awards breakfast. Hosted by Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP and presented in cooperation with The New York Building Congress (NYBC) and industry partners, American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York) and the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter (AIA-NY), the award is given to firms who are leaders and innovators of the AEC industry, and who have made and continue to make lasting impressions upon New York City's built environment. Dattner Architects was recognized for the impact their work has had on New York City; each year, more than 151 million people pass through transportation projects they have designed, 20 million people visit their parks, and thousands of children are educated in over 560 new classrooms. They have designed over 13,600 units of new and renovated housing for New Yorkers and have worked with dozens of civic non-profits. Their branch libraries, sports and recreation centers, and healthcare facilities dot the city.
