Atlas Concorde receives the Export Capital award for the second consecutive year

Last February, Atlas Concorde received the Export Capital award for the second consecutive year and was recognised as the top company in the Export Excellence category for the ceramics and marble sector.

The award recognises Italian companies’ international sales achievements and their ability to enhance the global standing of Italian industry based on official statistics from the Italian Customs and Monopolies A gency.

Atlas Concorde, a major global player in the ceramic tile industry with an extensive presence in 130 countries across 5 continents, has further strengthened its position as the industry’s top ranked company in terms of export share in the period 2021-2022. The challenging international scenario makes this performance all the more gratifying.

“We are thrilled to receive this award for the second year running. This recognition testifies to our international scope as well as our ability to effectively promote Italian-made products in international markets by providing extensive support to our partners and their projects around the world,” says Maurizio Mazzotti, CEO of Atlas Concorde.

The award recognises Atlas Concorde’s ability to create collections that are valued worldwide and to focus in particular on a top-performing product system: Boost World. Designed to meet the needs of the global design community, Boost World transcends the concept of a collection. Rather, it is a product ecosystem consisting of porcelain floor and wall tiles united by a profound aesthetic harmony. Boost World draws inspiration from materials as diverse as concrete, stone and raw earth and comes in a palette of neutral tones including metropolitan greys, textured beiges and ivories reminiscent of age-old stone. The Boost World collections can be mixed and matched with the utmost freedom to enhance aesthetic potential and find the perfect combination for the character of each space.

The Export Capital Award caps a 2023 full of prestigious recognitions for Atlas Concorde. In April, the company received three Red Dot Awards, one of the most coveted and prestigious international design accolades. The 2023 award recognised the creative flair and innovation of three Atlas Concorde products in the Product Design category: the exclusive hammered finish proposed in the Marvel X collection, the Marvel Gala collection with its range of stunning colours inspired by natural gemstones, and the five decorations of the Marvel Travertine collection, designed exclusively for Atlas Concorde by HBA, one of the world’s leading interior design firms. The judging criteria are based on the “pursuit of design and innovation” and the ability of a product to set a new standard in its category: a combination of qualities that has long been a hallmark of Atlas Concorde. Sensitech, a technology patented by Atlas Concorde for the Italian market that combines high technical performance with an exceptionally soft and delicate surface, was selected in November by the ADI Permanent Design Monitor for inclusion in the ADI Design Index 2023 in the materials and technological systems design category. This prestigious listing means Sensitech is now a candidate for the ADI Compasso D’Oro 2024, one of the most coveted awards in the world of international industrial design.
