There is a new best-in-class option for Overland Park residents looking for resident-centered, state-of-the-art healthcare. Mainstreet® is celebrating its latest transitional care center in Kansas, The Healthcare Resort of Shawnee Mission.
The property, located at 7600 Antioch Road in Overland Park, provides transitional care (short-stay rehabilitation and therapy) and assisted living in a service-rich environment. The property hosted a grand opening celebration this evening.

Construction started on The Healthcare Resort of Shawnee Mission in November 2014 and was completed in October 2015. Mainstreet developed The Healthcare Resort of Shawnee Mission and The Ensign Group, Inc. operates it.
With 125 beds and 85,635 square feet, The Healthcare Resort of Shawnee Mission boasts hospitality-oriented care with amenities such as a large therapy gym, a spa, a movie theatre, an on-site chef and more. The three-story project, which represents a total community investment of $19.8 million, created 320 construction jobs and 90 permanent jobs at the property itself.
