That was so 2016. In 2016, PANTONE’s Color of the Year was Rose Quartz 13-1520. A kitchen renovation featuring a white subway tile backsplash and Living Coral cabinetry. This matte porcelain tile, made to look like honed marble, has an elegant look without the maintenance that natural stone requires.

While still trending from 2016, cement tiles are traditional building materials that have been popular for centuries. Cement tiles are made with a mixture of cement, sand, pigment, and marble powder and are compressed with 2,000 pounds of pressure to seal in the design.
