A play of two volumes stacked one on top of the other was the design proposal forwarded by Dietrich Untertrifaller Architects for LK House in the town of Hard, Austria. The architectural solution offers a chance for the inhabitants to enjoy various perspective of the surroundings without compromising in privacy.

Architecture firm Büro KLK completed the design of the Krypt Bar, an underground social gathering spot in Austria. Located between Votivkirche and Sigmund Freud’s apartment, this cocktail and underground bar is an architectural gem. The floor plate is covered with a layer of Italian black marble.

House T is nestled in the rolling hills of southern Austria, overlooking a beautiful vineyard. Although architect Ulrike Tinnacher built a new structure, the design kept the beautiful, vaulted wine cellar of the old vintner’s house that stood on this site. The rectangular cube and gabled roof at one end also pay homage to the original home.
