Every quarter, the American Institute of Architects surveys its member architects and shares their findings in a survey. This most recent release focuses on two of my favorite topics: Kitchens and baths. Outdoor kitchens topped the architect survey’s most wanted list. They surprised me.

The American Institute of Architects’ most recent survey put outdoor kitchens at the top of homeowners’ project wish lists. I thought it would be interesting to explore how they’re designing and equipping these spaces, and their related outdoor “living rooms.”
