And I’m working on a kitchen/family room project with a white painted brick fireplace wall and hearth. Rustic Italian tile evokes old painted brick (Photo Courtesy: 41zero42). But, mainly, bricks have been on my mind so much this summer because they’ve also been on my back for so many hours and miles!

We discussed the different hand painted Spanish Tiles lines. A few days later she placed a sample order that included several popular hand painted Spanish decorative tiles and our Yucatan field tiles. Samples sent to Ines included the SpanishValencia , California San Diego and the Barcelona La Merced. at 6:00 AM.

I’ve never been much of a bath girl. The cast iron shower tray comes in various finishes, including primed and ready to paint on site, painted in a color of your choice, or polished and lacquered. The business owns and operates three factories that manufacture cast iron baths, brass fitting and china sanitary ware.

For the first four years I lived in my suburban San Diego townhouse, aka Chez J, my patio was a small empty rectangle. I had even painted the walls of my office to coordinate with the patio walls to create some indoor/outdoor flow. As a designer, I’m very sensitive to my surroundings at home. One of these looks just like mine!

This new board, My Sensible Style Bathroom, takes on my master bath. I already updated the vanity, installed accessories, (towel hooks and toilet paper holder), changed the paint and added crown molding. I’m leaving the flooring, toilet, tub and shower tile intact.
