When I was 5, he opened a small floor covering store in Manchester. So my first exposure to flooring began at a young age. I met a whole new group of people, like Rick Meyer of Carpetland USA, the second largest chain in the country. Back then the University of Indiana had a two-week graduate course in carpet retailing.
