Dizaino Virtuvė has designed a house for a family with two children in a Lithuanian forest that is a delightful mix of modernity and contemporaneity. Taking advantage of windows, the designers turned the kids room into an ultimate sun room where kids can play and learn as well as bunk for the night.

Studio Ben Allen completed the design of a creative playroom for two children inside a London apartment. The children can enjoy time together inside the intricate room, but can also do activities independent from one another. Arched entrances of different heights provide access to the bunk beds and work area.

Make a bookcase out of MDF, one that looks like a tree and fits on the corner of a bunk bed. Alternately, a raised bed also works - the unit is made to complement Mathy by Bols'' Dominique Collection of children''s beds. Who thinks this stuff up? The bookcase is dubbed the "Jules" from the line, Arbre Bibliothèque.

Derived from the archetypal figure of the house, the double triangular prism looks like an illustration from a children’s story. The project was conceived by a couple of young professionals with two children; the cottage refreshes the standards of traditional family homes.

Described as an amazingly fun project to deliver, this home for a family with four children exhibits ample living space for each inhabitant. “The oldest daughter got her own room, with a lofted bed and custom millwork, where the color was based on the Marimekko print of her curtain,” the designer says.
