The Cartersville plant was built in 2020 with equipment arriving from China in February 2021. There’s a reason for this: George Chen, co-owner, designed Wellmade’s rigid core plant in China and has replicated it in the U.S.—only Wellmade’s new commercially rated HDPC waterproof tile features ‘grout-look’ edges with embossed texturing.
