Maggie studied, worked and made ceramics in UK, Italy, USA, Africa, and Japan but recently had been working and living in the place where she was born, Milnthorpe, Cumbria. She is held in particularly high regard in Japan. She will, quite justifiably, be remembered as one of the finest ceramic artists of her generation.

Call for entries for the latest edition of ASCER’s Tile of Spain Awards

ASCER (the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association) has announced the eighteenth edition of its Tile of Spain Awards of Architecture, Interior Design and Final Degree Project. The awards are divided into three categories: Architecture, Interior Design and Final Degree Project, with prizes totalling €39,000. Ramón Monfort (CTAC).
