Prescott deployed ten times to Afghanistan, Iraq, Columbia and Puerto Rico during his years of service, receiving many accolades, including four Bronze Stars and one Purple Heart. As for now, Prescott is getting back to doing outdoor activities and intends to work toward his scuba license in the future.

Today, he remains active outdoors and even goes skiing. SSgt Blank joined the Marine Corps in 2006. In 2008, he was deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
