Here, for her client’s home in Maryland, Kaplan pairs a light sand-colored backsplash with a medium-tone gray countertop.

Before making its way to Mexico, the Romans used Terra-cotta or fired red-clay vessels to carry water throughout their ancient baths. When you do, don’t forget to follow Architectural Ceramics, Inc.
