To get that certain sheen that’s one of the things that makes Granada Tile different from run of the mill concrete (not all of which is as carefully made or durable as ours) is that we use marble powder in the surface layer along with the color pigment, which gives the tiles a subtle sheen.

The world’s second-largest producer and exporter of slate, takes us to South America. In the kitchen, the hard angles of the cabinetry and floors are softened by round light fixtures and natural light. The tongue-and-groove ceilings above and the natural slate tile below continue from the kitchen into the dining space.
