While poking around Barnes & Noble and the Strand bookstore outpost at Club Monaco on 5th Avenue in New York City, I noticed several new and very interesting magazines. Each image seems bathed in natural light and unadorned by overwrought styling. Her text-driven art pieces are often hidden behind bold color blocks.

The second week of May has evolved into “Design Week” in New York. In addition to the opening of the Kips Bay Decorator Show House and Collective Design, there is the major trade show International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF). Childress does own the rights to the logo and colors Earnhardt used during his career.
