The accent in the design concept was defining the space around them. 2 Oaks House was imagined as a home that would comprise both a contemporary comfort level and a platform for integrating the two existing oak trees on the property.

I/O Architects completed the design of Pagoda House in Sofia, Bulgaria. The concrete flooring and black metal framing were inspired by the prized vehicle, a vintage Mercedes, which is showcased in a dedicated atrium. “The client, a Bulgarian investment banker, had two important requirements,” the architects said.
