This powder room had been originally faux painted probably 10ish years ago and it just felt old and tired in there. So we ended up with this one, they win, I think it was a beautiful choice with the travertine sink and countertop. Quick Tip: When painting your own powder rooms ALWAYS do your ceilings, it makes all the difference.

On this fireplace, we did a Contours tile from Diamond Tech with a travertine slab on top of the hearth. So a really inexpensive way of fixing that, was to paint it a flat black, it does the trick every time. Well I mean the paint helped too, ha! But there wasnt anything wrong with it other than the shiny brass. Office: After).

We laid the travertine tiles on a diagonal to make the room look bigger and yes there are those glass tiles again at each intersection, she now loves these floors much more than her beloved Pergo.
