The Clark-West 25th Street neighborhood of Cleveland has a large Hispanic population and a lively street scene. Through a grant from the Cleveland Foundation they were able to commission me to create a ceramic tile mural for the graffiti covered building entrance. I airbrushed ceramic color onto glazed but unfired ceramic tile.

The Perfect Bath

Little round mesh-mounted porcelain tiles–called Penny Tile–are both traditional and modern. The look was seen in both residential and commercial installations, often partnered with 3 x 6 white subway tile. After making a design choice, the key to a great installation with Penny Tile is the right grout color.
