I had been thinking about going to Cuba for awhile, but did not act on my impulse until a chance meeting at our Waterworks Kitchen showroom with designer Todd Klein, who mentioned a trip he was taking to Cuba. Yet there is something hopeful for the future of preservation in Cuba. They must be the national drink of Cuba!

Shortly after I started Avente Tile, I remember Jorge Aguayo, of Aguayo Tile explaining that he had discovered many floors in disrepair while visiting Cuba.

While the design looks simple enough, the use of materials and objects is highly sophisticated. Instead, I am sharing another great bath.
