Shortly after I started Avente Tile, I remember Jorge Aguayo, of Aguayo Tile explaining that he had discovered many floors in disrepair while visiting Cuba. He archived the Cuban tile patterns and colors found in homes and estates on the island. His goal was to preserve these amazing tile tapestries.
