We went through what seems like a ton of different options and while this is actually a long story to get where we are, the client basically went with the top mortar color. I took this picture because of the red steel pipe columns They are red because that’s the primer color that comes with the steel that keeps them from rusting.

It’s red … like the color of blood. In our case, they were snapping lines and preparing to start laying out the walls for the ground floor level … can’t do that with snow on the deck. If you look at the picture above, through al the trees, you can see the cabin where I stay.
