Studio 2 Pi Architecture completed the design and development of Villa Melana , a contemporary seaside residence in Greece. With a spectacular contrast between the white ceiling beams and the stone walls, the open-plan kitchen and dining area is the design highlight of the house.

Tile has been used in building as far back as 3000BC in ancient Greece. Wall tiles are a color mix in gradient style white/light gray/pearl gray/graphite/anthracite (2.5″X8″). If you’re going to use tile in the kitchen, go big! First used to replace thatch roofs, they were desired for their fire resistance.
