There is no industry document, to my knowledge, that mandates or even encourages the incorporation of an arris, yet it is far more common to include it than to eliminate it. Within this document, there is a discussion of recommended factors of safety. Is this acceptable?

In addition, we made the deck both bigger AND smaller at the same time (that’s the kind of architectural magic we perform at my office). We also redesigned the deck off the master bedroom so that there was a generous seating area available. We made the deck area here considerably larger and added a seating area.

Apparently it’s only the most important tool on the job site ( according to me ). In our case, they were snapping lines and preparing to start laying out the walls for the ground floor level … can’t do that with snow on the deck. When I got on site, I noticed this weird scoopy looking thing.
