Despite the fact that we are going to seek LEED for Homes certification for our project (where deconstruction is preferable to demolition), there are benefits to every residential home owner who is planning on building a new house on a site where a house currently exists. In addition, we made the deck both bigger AND smaller at the same time (that’s the kind of architectural magic we perform at my office). This rendered site plan still shows the vegetative roof – something that we were pursuing since this will be a LEED for Homes certified project. This is the latest and greatest site plan.
