When it’s time to get out of the neighborhood, the Green Line B Train goes through the neighborhood. This platinum LEED-certified building also offers an indoor/outdoor fitness center, lush rooftop and a putting green. The area is generally safe, though general caution should be used at night, when things can get a bit rowdy.

Despite the fact that we are going to seek LEED for Homes certification for our project (where deconstruction is preferable to demolition), there are benefits to every residential home owner who is planning on building a new house on a site where a house currently exists.

The updated building includes a gym, landscaped patio and roof deck. Head to the IRT Broadway-Seventh Avenue Line to catch the 1, 2 and 3 trains, or the IND Eighth Avenue Line to access the A, B, C and D lines. The rooftop deck includes lounge furniture and an outdoor basketball court. However, the subway situation is improving.
