Port Clinton, Ohio—Barrington Carpet & Flooring Design, headquartered in Green, Ohio, has acquired Young’s Carpet One Floor & Home, located here. The acquisition was finalized on Jan. 4, 2021. Barrington Carpet, originally established in 1978 as Design Carpet Warehouse, serves Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Michigan and Eastern Indiana and specializes in new construction, custom builder, retail, commercial and multi-family floor coverings.

Hannover, Germany—After initially being postponed to May 18-20 , Domotex will no longer take place as a hybrid trade show format this year. Instead, an alternative digital business platform is planned in the form of the Domotex Digital Day, to be held May 20, 2021. According to show organizers, the current global infection situation in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic makes it impossible to plan and organize a physical presence on site in Hannover.
