This particular modern river house is located on the banks of the Neris River, in Lithuania’s Vilnius County. Having the bedrooms and guest room on the ground floor made it easier to build the social spaces on higher ground to take in all the light. Having a modern river house is like making peace with both nature and technology.

Plenty of floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors provide access to the grassy carpet outside as well as open up to the surrounding views of the forest. Each level has its own outdoor lounge area, where residents can enjoy nature in full. It seems like no one else can see it, rendering both site and house a perfect getaway.
