When I was 5, he opened a small floor covering store in Manchester. He was colorblind, so I would sort the tile because he couldn’t tell the colors. So my first exposure to flooring began at a young age. Pat Kerns from Milwaukee, and Sam Yonan from Chicago. We helped found the American Floor Covering Association together.
