After experiencing declines in both sales and square footage in 2019 and 2020, the U.S. FCNews research shows wood flooring sales at the first point of sale in 2021 totaled a record $2.67 Hardwood’s performance in 2021 helped the category increase its share of total floor covering sales, albeit slightly, to 10%.
