Call for entries for the latest edition of ASCER’s Tile of Spain Awards

The awards are divided into three categories: Architecture, Interior Design and Final Degree Project, with prizes totalling €39,000. ASCER (the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association) has announced the eighteenth edition of its Tile of Spain Awards of Architecture, Interior Design and Final Degree Project.

There was a huge exhibition of her work there in 2002 in Gallery Ray; a period in which she worked in a potter’s studio in Seto, while attending language classes in Nagoya City. But I had spotted a gap in the interior design market for good quality and well-designed tiles. She is held in particularly high regard in Japan.
