For years, the Marble Institute of America (MIA) has led study tours to quarries around the USA, Canada, and abroad. Established in 1951, they operate a wholesale quarry, foundry, and manufacture a wide range of architectural plaques and signs. Next year, the MIA will return to Vermont (October 21-22, 2015).
