The latest addition to the Heath Building in San Francisco is Elisabeth Prueitt and Chad Robertson’s Tartine Manufactory — an open production and creative space for dining, baking, recipe development, and culinary collaborations. It’s amazing to be a part of completing the vision for the building! And that’s how we like it.

The color palette came out of our collaboration with Tartine, a beloved San Francisco bakery who recently opened a new space, Tartine Manufactory , at Heath SF. Chad and Liz were talking about new ways of making some simple foods, perfecting some of their classics while trying new things.

And extending far beyond Heath and Tartine, he’s been putting his mark on the city as a whole, particularly in San Francisco’s hottest restaurants (think scene-defining eateries like Cala , Tawla , State Bird Provisions , Flour + Water and Barebottle Brewery ). Three years later, Heath opened the doors to its tile factory and showroom.

Heath San Francisco opened its doors in 2012, with the tile factory in full-swing by 2013. Fortunately, when we had a conversation with Tartine’s Chad Robertson and Elisabeth Prueitt,their ideas of the place they wanted to create presented what felt like a perfect fit for all sides.
