Colorful pillows and decorative accents add pops of color in an otherwise monotone room. In these mosaics, visual interest is added artistically with the use of lines and shapes. This spring I was touched by the kindness of a simple gesture that few of us do in this electronic age, Margaret wrote a note thanking me for my support - on the cover was a joyful expression of her stain glass mosaics. How and when did you start creating the mosaic glass art masterpieces? Quilt blocks were my first inspiration.

The calming bathroom above is a great example of how to use a decorative tile on the walls, complemented by a plank porcelain field tile on the floor. Both products are not only attractive but durable and easy to clean – a win-win in our book! We are loving this marble and brushed brass mosaic. Decorate the kitchen.

During each walk, I usually spy decorative tiles in outdoor settings that adorn the Spanish and Mediterranean homes that were influenced by Mission, Spanish, and Spanish Revival architecture. I do have a soft spot for tile and love seeing how decorative tile is used to add a splash of color or touch of interest to a home. at 6:00 AM.

I think one of my favorite parts of remodeling a kitchen is adding some WOW to the backsplash.Alot of times I am working on other parts of a clients house and I see a BORING backsplash and I talk them into adding some WOW like these.
