This is easily accomplished with a standard framing square and allows me to see if I will need to make adjustments. If this is a new kitchen then critical blocking should have already been added.

When a person wants their kitchen counter top material to look pretty much the same over time AND wants a material that will require less maintenance, they should probably look at choosing an alternative to white marble. In Brazil all kitchen counters were cheap white marble back in the, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. Thanks for the article.

To start, for the guest powder bath I have selected the Waterworks Compass pendant in unlacquered brass. The room is a very small bath squeezed around a very large chimney. I love the Compass light, especially in brass, and have decided that despite the bath’s diminutive size, mixing finishes was the thing to do.
