I’ve never been much of a bath girl. The cast iron shower tray comes in various finishes, including primed and ready to paint on site, painted in a color of your choice, or polished and lacquered. Every winter, color authority Pantone announces its color of the new year. My bedroom walls at Chez J are painted a slightly lighter violet. This time, it’s one of my favorites! I find it both warm and soothing. Plus, it also sets off my art collection beautifully.

Grey, white, black remain the top three colors in that order for both floor and walls with greige (gray-beige) following as a close fourth depending on the collection’s design inspiration. The complimentary colors of choice have shifted from the oceanic blues, teals and turquoise that were solidly in place for the past 2 years.

The trip will end in Valencia when everyone on the Passport of Creativity tour will attend Cevisama, one of Europes (and therefor the worlds) largest tile and bath trade shows.
