Yesterday, we shared a fantastic tile installation featuring our Santander tile design. Today, we’ve got another wonderful cement tile installation featuring Granada Tile. This tile installation idea comes to us from David Schneider, who chose to use Granada Tile in his own home near Seattle.

The story of Kibak Tile begins in the 50s with the founder’s mother Gudrun emigrating from Denmark to California with her husband. Finally Carli, who grew up around Kibak Tile, began hand-painting tiles in high-school.

Restaurants love tile for some many reasons — it’s beautiful and it’s easy to wipe clean. That goes double for cement tile and Granada Tile’s cement tile in particular. Cement, unlike porcelain, is porous, so it’s less slippery when wet.
