On this fireplace, we did a Contours tile from Diamond Tech with a travertine slab on top of the hearth. Oh and yes I took out the tired marble surround and replaced it with the travertine tile I used in the floor of his kitchen to tie it all in. The countertops are marble and I found the cutest crystal cabinet knobs for her, she LOVES them. We laid the travertine tiles on a diagonal to make the room look bigger and yes there are those glass tiles again at each intersection, she now loves these floors much more than her beloved Pergo. glass mosaics.
