This has been a topic I’ve been tackling in DC as well. When you add these costs, with the costs of other organizations and certifications we are encouraged to participate in and obtain USGBC/LEED, AIA, etc., Basically most firms here didn’t value out of country experience since i didn’t have LEED or Revit.
