Micro apartments are designed to be space-efficient as well as LEED certified or energy efficient. They are designed so that they feel bigger and more open than their actual square footage. I’ve mentioned a few times about the wood deck that is outside and how it is a visual extension of this room – the two large window section between the columns on the right hand side of this photo are operable doors so that it is easy to open them up and move between the interior and exterior spaces.
