Cersaie Impressions – Villeroy & Boch

One of the booths I enjoyed visiting in my last (free) day at Cersaie , Italy’s annual bathware and tile show, was Villeroy & Boch. As their products are widely available in the US, I was somewhat familiar with the brand. Founded in 1748 in Germany as a ceramics company, they might be best known here as a tableware manufacturer. They’re much more, and their booth showed that well.

Wags to Wishes 2016 | Underdog Rescue

We will begin our annual collection for Wags to Wishes from November 21 – December 16. The rescue we have chosen to work with this year is Underdog Rescue , located in Edina, MN. Many of the pets they rescue have come from commercial breeders (puppy mills) and require different types of rehabilitation and placement needs. While they tend to focus on dogs, they do also have some kitties and bunnies, too!

A Modern Cafe and Maker’s Space in Thailand

Architects Supermachine Studio teamed up with one of the largest developers in Thailand to build this unique creation space, located in Bangkok. Sansiri, a large development company, wanted to create this space in a mall in the center of a large residential neighborhood that they had developed. Their purpose was to create a hub for their “co-working” philosophy; a center space that would allow people to gather while working on their passions.
