The wall color is Sherwin-Williams 7037 and I picked that color because it played well with the off-white cabinetry paint color and it was as similar hue to the brown veins running through the Calacatta marble on the counters and back splash. Granite will stain and marble much more so. One of my favorite stories about marble involves a wonderful, former client named Margaret. Even simple easily changed selections like a paint color were sources to stymie their decision making process. Hey come on, a gallon of high end low VOC paint costs about $80. amusements.

2) Look what a difference just painting red brick does.The architecture of the fireplace now really stands out instead of the color, so do those woods floors. So we covered up the brick with black granite tiles and painted the tired wood white so now the dental moldings really show up. What a difference a little paint can make.
