I was elected to the MIA Board of Directors in November of 2009, representing Zone 4 (Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin). However, more needs to done to emphasize safety and best practices in the quarrying and installation of natural stone.
