Moroccan Tile. Zellige tiles are very traditional to this region and are made up of colorful mosaics.

Shown above is a perfect example of the classic 3×6 subway tile, but with added dashes of warmth, thanks to the use of 16×16 Basalt stone field tile , wood, and warm metal. The designer didn’t stop with the walls – instead they opted to finish the ceilings in both tile and wood! Love the wall? Utilize a fireplace.

So, I wanted to take a look at the newest trends that we’re seeing in tile for Kitchen and Baths. Black Tile. This one actually sort of surprised me because historically it was so rare to see black tile unless it was the black & white checkerboard classic look. Brick Tile. Terracotta Brick ). Cement Tile.
