Galleher acquired Sunwood Distribution , a distributor in the Salt Lake City area that services the Utah and Idaho markets with hard surface flooring and installation supplies. The purchase extended Republic’s coverage into Utah, Wyoming and Montana; part of their push to go nationwide.

The two top states that I would love to move to are New Mexico and Arizona because I don’t want to have to deal with snow anymore when I retire. I was thinking about Montana, Oregon, Utah and Colorado. The post New Mexico? Unfortunately, in my research these two states have become pricey places to live.

Tri-West currently serves as Armstrong Flooring’s distributor in southern California and the Las Vegas area; with this change, they will serve all of California and Nevada, as well as Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Hawaii. Based in Sante Fe Springs, Calif., It will work with B.R. Funsten to coordinate an orderly transition.
