I can understand where the growing lack of confidence comes from, and there is no need to disparage those who collect and report the data. And for 2026, we’re forecasting a macroeconomic recession, but nothing along the lines of a Great Depression. In 2025, the economy is going to slow down. Just a regular old recession.
