Modeled after Cape Cod style homes, these Vermont mountain cabins were constructed for the purpose of housing musicians for the Marlboro Music School and Festival that dates back to 1951. Installing a slate tile floor. For the present project that we are working on Vermont slate tile was chosen for the mudroom entry way as well as the half bathroom that is attached to it. Now this slate comes in an assortment of sizes so laying out the floor isnt as easy as you would get in a standard tile floor.

We lived in a house with light counter tops and dark floors; I could never tell when the counter was clean and the floor always looked filthy. Tammie I love the look of a white marble counter and my favorite white marbles are from Vermont…Vermont Danby being my all time favorite. Personally, I like this.

Then the attic maybe ventilated or not though if it isn’t being ventilated as you went with a hot roof system you can smack yourself for not using SIPS The ceiling / attic floor could be made of SIPS panels & then the roof framed, in this case the attic should be ventilated.
